Propellerheads Rebirth was officially released for iPhone & iPod Touch today. But I can't help thinking that this is looking a bit old now, and look at that interface! What a nightmare on such a small screen!! Shocked

I was just coming to post about it too Very Happy

I agree on the screen size stuff, all that stuff was pretty tiny even on a computer. Now, it's freaking itsybitsy! Might not be too bad at 2x on an iPad tho.

It's $6.99 USD, so it's priced reasonably (get it, reason-ably, haha). I won't buy it personally. I already have the original (paid for when it first came out) and other 303 emulators.

One of the things I liked about ReBirth was the ability to manipulate controls whilst recording chains of sequences. I can't see how to do that effectively on an iPhone. And this app is what, 12, 13 years old now? Propellerheads abandoned this many years ago.

I'm all for good music apps for the platform, and I was a big fan and user of ReBirth once upon a time, but what's the point of releasing it for such a fiddly interface? Or are they planning on releasing an OSX version of ReBirth sometime? Nostalgia is overrated.
