Wow! Mountains of snow. Things are turning black and melting away here now...

Holy bovine! We only got just under 3 feet in Maryland. That looks like a lot more. I would not mind getting that much. I love snow. I would not love to be stark naked in it, but I love it. We were supposed to have gotten a few more inches recently, but as usual, the weather prediction was wildly off. When I want to know what the weather is like, I look out the window. 100% accurate every time.

This was on a box of soap at a friend's home. The braille text was printed - not raised - on the box. That's right up there with the billboard for Stevie Wonder's show with the braille on it.

This struck my funny bone in a quaintly amusing way. I just don't know why. I guess because I expect to see the word TRASH and not RUBBISH. "Rubbish" is something I expect someone to exclaim, circa last century.

Look closely at the star special.

That's SOME party!

Never mind the typo on "pizza's". Possessive pizza's freak me out.

After the storm comes the calm.
Finally, some blue sky and sun rays albeit the clouds!
The birds are seagulls having fun with air currents.

Fantastic picture! I have made this my desktop background, if you don't mind. Smile

I don't think those CDs back there will be a good substitute for gears. Plus, you'll need a chain and pedals. Razz

I saw a bike in a shop recently, one of those small ones. It was built to look like it was made out of shiny chains. I immediately picture Ice Cube riding it rapping "Damn, it's good to be a gangsta!"

Here is a small taste of the current build progress. Haven't had a lot of time due to illnes and other projects, but going quite smooth so far Smile

I wasn't planing to do this part until fall -- buy my neighbor called and said he had some time to fill so we started on it the next morning. I'm putting murals on 1/2 + 1 + 1/2 walls and can't select the trim paint till I have the murals in hand for color matching. And they won't be in for one to two weeks. And the carpet can't be put in till after the trim is painted and.... and ... argh

Progress.

Home made light fixtures, home made valence hung with magnets. Couldn't pay for commercial much less custom made valence lighting so I a made it my self. One of the reasons it takes me forever but it does fill that need to build something that grabs hold of me from time to time.

Very inspiring. I'm trying to get some home projects done myself. I love the DIY valence lighting.
