Hey all,

I was messing around with my A6, and noticed that the pitch wheel seemed to be bending the OSCs very little, and only pitch bending up Shocked . I booted the A6 in test mode, and sure enough, the pitch wheel was sending very little data (about 1000 up, 0 down, when it should hit 4000+ to pass the test). I decided to pop the A6 open and have a look at the pitch/mod assembly. I made sure all the connectors were seated properly that come from the section, and cleaned the pitch wheels potentiometer. Once I'd put it back together I fired it up in test mode, and now the pitch wheel doesn't send any data at all. Whats the next step? It still receives pitch bend data over midi just fine. I was thinking I will test the pot to make sure its within tolerance. Any other suggestions or feedback? I appreciate any help!

Thanks,
Cutter

A bit late now, but there is a mode where you can calibrate the wheels, my memory is abit hazy now, but it was posted in the A6 mailing list

have a look in the archives

Press and hold soft button 5 while cycling power. This recalibrates the mod wheel and ribbon controller.

My pitch wheel seems to work intermittently after re-arranging my studio. I'm guessing it must be a loose connection or solder joint.
