New Anaphylaxis mp3s |
|
|
Two new free mp3's have been posted on the Parasomnic Records website for you! These tracks are from the upcoming Anaphylaxis CD,
"Noise For Lovers", which will be available sometime in March. This is, by
far, Jason Coffman's most ambitious project and the results are extremely
impressive. Thick reverb washes, digital manipulation and pop-culture bastardization.
Not to mention, this is probably Parasomnic's most accessible release to date. Something for everyone, from fans of IDM to dark-ambient to post-rock and even noise.

Wow! This is powerful sounding stuff. The production of the drums on 'All Yours' sounds fabulous, which always gets me going. The big synthy washes are a bit overpowering though. They almost wash everything else away. 'Hopeless' is a big swirling vortex of a tune. _________________ This message was brought to you from Beyond The Grave. |

All Yours is a great track, but Hopeless is excellent - you've captured an old world sound and spirit from a unique sonic perspective. I like the way it builds from the emotive beginning to the "swirling" finish (although it is an edit) and the way you bring in the single dissonant bowing at the end. Don't know about calling 'Hopeless' though - I found it to have the opposite effect.
Also checked out your tracks at IC-MusicMedia and liked The Yasmin Palace in particular. Intriguing music.
I've been working with AudioMulch myself lately - great tool. Lots of addictive surprises. _________________ Que la musique sonne - Edgard Varese

I really like the massive textures on "All Yours". Amazing. Do you listen to Gridlock? _________________ www.avanvranken.com |
