Has anyone tried the 4069 vco by rene schmitz with the suggested buffer for the saw wave.

here is link

Thing is I've built one without and it worked. Put the buffer in and now its not. I've checked all connections and for the life of me can not work it out. Any help would be well appreciated. Very Happy Very Happy

I used a 2n3904. I didn't have any bc550 around. The pins on 2n3904 are the oposite of the bc550. Very Happy

I've been looking for a good VCO to pair with a Baby 10, and came across this schematic. Opinions?
