a thing of beauty and no mistake.

makes my proposed 2 cwejman modules a bit limp by comparison.

what does the tower sound like though? Shocked

The tower sounds amazing. I recently finished recording a collection of nine songs (mostly ambient) using only the tower. They wont be available till next year though. They might sound 'clean' given the cwejman filters used on the S1 and dmf-2, mmf-1. I added the mmf-6 last, that filter is perfect for added character sound.

Based on my postings here and cwejman preference, you can tell I didn't build the tower overnight cat
2 cwejman modules is a good start to a tower Wink

If you want to hear a sample/demo song you can view my website and play the song (pfurmel) loaded in the Flash Player and read about it in the Music tab. All cwejman, except for the percussion.

enjoying the music just now. i wouldn't have guessed it was cwejman: not characteristically 'clean' or 'precise'. good though.

i like the 'full picture of patch'. when i've got my own tower i will re-create that patch!

i had an s1 mk2 a couple of years back but sold it to buy a voyager. i've wanted another s1 ever since. maybe i'll sell the voyager to buy one. Shocked

on balance though i think i'll go with the modules: the plan is to get a VCO-2RM and an MMF-1 or 6 to start with.

Thanks for the comments Very Happy People have mentioned the edgy sound in the demo sounds like a guitar through a distortion pedal? A different kinda of cwejman sound Wink

Yes, re-create that patch when your system is ready. Be cool to hear it.

The voyager is a nice instrument. I could not part with it.

Either an mmf-1 or mmf-6 will go well with the vco-2rm. Only drawback is one cutoff for 2 oscillators. Consider the dmf-2.
