Not per se, but there is a free pluging you can download and try out. It works very well, but it is not as good as the one we are selling. The sound of it is pretty much like the AmbiophonicDSP plugin's POP preset. It will give you the idea of what Ambiophonic reproduction is like. Depending on the music you like to play, it might be all you need, but if you like it, upgrading would be worth it.

The free plugin doesn't have quite the separation capability and it has more frequency distortion than the AmbiophonicDSP. By comparison, it sounds a bit heavy in the midrange and a little phasey.

The free version is found here: http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-27871.html

Yes, a demonstration of AmbiophonicDSP - pre-decoded music (rock, electronic, marching band, opera) is at...

http://www.filmaker.com/products.htm

This demo is made with generic AmbioDSP settings that work for many PCs and laptops - finer results can be expected with totally adjustable controls in the actual plug-in. Best results are had with quality speakers. Listen for guitars and synthesized effects well outside the speakers, for no tone color change as marching instruments pass smoothly by, and for distinct and natural vocals.

There is also a Left-Center-Right test for calibrating your system with the plug-in once you own it. Now, as a content producer, you be able to critically monitor the positioning, layering, and color of sounds; or as a listener, to enjoy precisely the same results.

The web page above also describes how AmbioDSP works by engaging Listener Envelopment (LEV) much more than stereo can without it - more like the spatiality and ambience of surround sound but with two speakers.
