i am not decided yet. you read my post over at muffs? i would think most people are not that interested in such basic modules. maybe this would change as soon as some people built a DIY version? and i think i would have to redesign the PCB for auto assembly.
anyways, i am sorry for the delay with this project. the attenuverting mixers sell better than i'd expected, and i had to work a lot on these. then the VCPS-8 PCB sale...
i really hope to assemble the PCB of the ringmod and the vc pwm clock next week (not this week starting today!). _________________

Somehow I missed seeing this one...so thanks for the bump, LektroiD.
Basic module or not, I think it's a cool one and would love to get a couple! |

i populated and tested the proto PCB. it works fine - actually. i recognized that the carrier signal comes through, even though the init control is fully down.
getting back to my SMD module observed the same behaviour. obviously i did not care about this in the past, just didn't matter to me.
nevertheless, i will try to solve this before asking for advance orders. _________________

Hey congrats on getting your own forum Makes sense as you've already made available a number of tasty projects/modules.
But to the point...Would be in for pair of ring mod boards if you end making a run of these! Seems easy enough to build on veroboard, but professional pcbs are always more nice and tidy to work with.
Might even order some extras if I figure out an easy way to adapt these to stomp box levels and build it as a guitar effect as well |

Will the board be within 1U width? I ask as I'm building 5U and low profile cabinet (all my boards are mounted parallel to the panel using stand-offs), and there would be no need to build into a 2U panel. _________________ LektroiD |
