These are Nord Lead 2 patches that have been converted into G2 and G1 patches.

Enjoy Very Happy

Thanks

How did you convert them? Manually, or with some automation?

I'm not familiar with the sound of the NL's- how well do the NM versions sound?

Don't know how they compare to the NL2 but they sound nice on my G2, I'll try the G1 ones later.

Thanks for these. Smile

So I assume you got his permission to post the patches?

i did download them, being a constant lurker...
haven't had the time to check them yet...

but this bugs me a lot, i understand the policy of not posting anything
here on E.M. that has anything to do with someones copyrighted work, but WAiT A MINUTE !

How can someone stick his own copyright on patches that originally
belong to Clavia (Nerd keyboards, whatever) and was available for free, or came with an instrument?

Jan, if i convert my favourite noodles of yours to "my format", pd, bidule, reaktor, vaz, whatever -this is theory- and i stick my name on it and say copyright me, just because i converted them, now that doesn't make those nifty nice noodles mine, does it?

So would prefer these patches back here, for others to see.
You could say may be i'm out of moral.
could be, i live in a country where they steal everything that's moveable,
so i think a lot about these stupid things....
So if you ask me, this ain't right in the first place...

plus the g2 patches are not on the mentioned site. so? who's stuff is that?

I already had those patches. They are included in the G2OOLS_Patches_1.5.zip package, in a folder named "NordLead_Emulation_by_Martinez_Ken".

There is also a folder named "Nord_Lead_Emulation_by_Clavia" which contains converted Nord Lead 2 patches.

It bugs me too ... no the patches probably could not have been copyrighted ... and it would have been far easier if j had communicated a bit with the parties involved. hence the sigh ... Confused I just wanted to clear the situation up, not kill any initiatives.
