Hi guys,

when I load a new project in my sequencer where Andy is used, as long as I stay in the A6's program mode it will switch to the program and bank I previously selected in the sequencer which is quite handy, because like this you don't have to toggle with the A6's buttons any more to make it play what you need Wink

But sometimes you want to use the mix mode in your song, so the question is whether there is any chance with MIDI program/bank select or whatever to switch Andy "remotely" (means initiated from the sequencer) from program into mix mode?

Any ideas?

Regards,
look37

... I forgot to point out when using the term "sequencer" here I mean my software sequencer which is Cubase, and not the A6's built-in one Wink

Not many synths have that facility so I always just change manually... The Andromeda may be capable of it as it is well specified as far as MIDI controls go but I'm afraid I don't know for sure.

Some synths (usually older ones) actually transmit Sysex when any button/control has been activated so try disabling any filters in your MIDI preferences on Cubase, poke record then press the mix button to see if and midi data is transmitted... If so, you should just be able to copy and paste that into any songs that need it.

check this

F0 00 00 0E 1D 0D <mode> F7
/<mode> = 0 = Program mode; 1 = Mix mode/

so you may send this Sysex:

F0 00 00 0E 1D 0D 01 F7

to switch da mix mode on your andy.
