Today is the birthday of Touch-Style pioneer Dave Bunker.

Dave built his first tap-guitar back in the 50's and continues to evolve his original design today. RESPECT!

(His Touch Guitars now incorporate full MIDI outputs and are super bad-ass IMO)

Here's Dave playing his original creation on Ozark Jubilee Circa 1960:

Amazing. I saw a video of Dave playing on - I think - Johnny Carson. did a great job there too.
