Yeah, i'm guessing it was from an Improv, kinda like highlights of where an improv gets good.....but it's only a guess.
Hopefully s/he'll be back to comment, looking forward to hearing more! Just these lil snippets is the kind of stuff i look for. i think it really captures the spirit of experimental music making |

Hmm... Thanks I thought the lack of replies meant it was ear-crushingly bad. but your positive comments have given me some enthusiasm.
Yes, they do end abruptly, I just did these as samples for a sound, and then moved onto the next idea.
Here are two more. PARK is an eerie sounding track, starting off with some sort of string synth and going into some lfo oddness.
Asps Nest_5 is clearly 'inspired' by Basement Jaxx's Kontrol remix of Daft Punk's own Technologic. made a few similar sounds, put in some more wobbley bits. It was mostly fun to make the drop.
I might warn that there's nothing new to hear after the first minute of Asps Nest, the rest I was too lazy to cut off :/

Finally got some time to give a listen, cool!! Wobbly is an excellent descriptor.
Yeah, i felt the same way when first coming to the site and not getting much feedback.....thinking, "oh god!! It must be incredibly AWFUL!!".....but after getting to know the atmosphere here, NO....folks can be a little reserved here, and it doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the track.
Besides, what matters most is that you make music that you like, expressing your vision of whats makes good music. But yeah, not knowing reactions can be a downer when you're putting yourself out there.
Keep on doin what you do!! |

Jan,
Forgot to mention yesterday,
Most of the feedback here happens in chat. When you post songs here, they often end up playing on the radio. EdisonRex has a weekly show that plays new tracks from the forum, and also songs also get placed on rotation when there's not live stuff going on.
BlueHell is the main reviewer/feedback presence in the forums. She also places songs in the radio playlist to get heard. The radio here is the usual method for most folks to hear new stuff.
The right people to appreciate your music are here, though. |

Loving what I'm hearing! Right now Village to Venus is on...
Must have longer tracks and more of them. I'm enjoying it a lot - very unusual sounds and yet very pleasant to listen to
