Hey guys!

I bought myself an Waldorf Microwave XTk a few months ago, and I just recently got around to using it well. Anyways, I had to see what the "making electro music" capabilities were, so I made this very verh short thing (no sequencing or anything, just me improvising on the synth)

I also tested some of the pad capabilities on it

I'm an XT owner. Wished I had the keyboard. The Microwaves really are a unique instrument. That's a good choice. Have fun.

That's what I've heard. I love the color. The sound of the wavetables being swept is so unique. The XT can have sucn an aggressive and almost analogue sound.

Which Waldorf synth is the "closest" to a PPG wave 2.3? I donĀ“t mean an exact copy, but close. Will the XTk do?

Hi friends of the forum: i've been looking for some information about Waldorf XTK, but it's hard to find. Someone is selling me a xtk, but i wanna ask if the synth is the "big deal" or not...i've listened the patches and are awesome, but i want to ask you anyway. Thanks...Japan.

I think so. It's not like your typical subtractive virtual analogue synth. I find it to be a great compliment to my other synths. To me it has a very distinctive sound.

Can I ask why your cat is called Squee?

One of my friends is called Squee. He likes old hip hop and pornography.

Haha! There's a comic book called "I Feel Sick". And the main character in the comic has a "toy" that he calls Squee. I think. It's been a while since I read it. It's made my Johnen Vasquez.
So we got the name Squee from that comic Smile
