Dear Broadcasters,

I am sure that you are all aware the radio station runs on GMT... [cause it never changes].
We are at that time of year were various time zones are changing to and from DLS..
The radio schedule on the radio page shows the times of your shows in GMT
http://electro-music.com/radio/

and this page will show the times of you show in your local time
http://www.electro-music.com/~janpunter/view_schedule.php

If you wish to change the start time of your show [usually 1 hour earlier], can you please let Jan know the GMT time that you would like your show to start.
This is so that he can make the changes to the schedule and check that there are no program clashes.

Time is both simple and complicated...

Good luck
john.

ah good Damien...

how did you change to GMT ...

did you make an offset on your local time..

or did you set it to London..

if you set it to London you will have a problem on mar 27th when the uk moves to BST..

Thanks. Please move my show to match the 7 PM EST / 4 PST time. Would that be 2300 GMT? This better actually as they now occur on the same day.

I just set my computers' time zones to GST and synced them with ntpd. I then set my cell phone to that time.

My evil plan is now to tell the time in GST to anyone who says "Hey, buddy, got the time?". Twisted Evil

I misread that at first as "Gambler Island Time". Place your bets, place your bets! Does Damien need to take a remedial reading course? Does he need new glasses? Place your bets! Laughing

Both Ephemera and EER will move times as of the 27th of March, to coincide with 23:00 local time (BST) for Ephemera and 22:00 local time for EER. This effectively means the first EER on summer time will be the 28th of March, and the following Friday April 1 will be the first Ephemera on summer schedule.

I don't think I have any conflicts on Mondays or Fridays, but if so, then we should talk about it.

Programmed Hell is still the first Friday of the month at 2200 GMT. If that's a conflict, I have no problem whatsoever moving back an hour. Cool
