HI...please help Embarassed Sad

Just got an Alesis QS6. It works fine as a controller for my Vsti's. But I can't get the local sounds from the QS6 to play through my DAW, (Reaper,Samplitude or AcidPro7) and speakers. I hear it okay on headset and it records. Also no volume etc. control in DAW.

Hope someone can help.. Very Happy

Calling people names probably isn't the best way of getting help.

Try the Reaper forums, they're rather more likely to be someone there with the same synth.

Well, now is the chance to call me a moron too.

As the built in sounds of the QS6 are piped to the line outs as plain audio, and AFAIK this mid 90s design doesn´t provide digital out, then the signal flow is like this: line outs QS6 -> audio interface -> DAW. I reckon the problem is with the DAW.

I´m guessing the QS6 has been tested on its own with headphones and a keyboard amp and not found faulty. It does provide audio out, but the problem is rather how the audio routing works in the DAW?

aren't there electromusic sites for diverse daw's too ?
by mixing everything together with the name alesis on it, nobody will be helped, only maybe morons.
just let the a6 part be for the a6, it makes it easier for anybody to find what they are looking for or ask an appropriate question.
can't put it more clearly i guess.
so please administrator can there be some restrictions to make it going like it always went well...
