Hey all - So, I have an electric cello, and the pickup has three inputs on it. I am already using the headphone jack for headphones so I can hear myself play in live settings. The regular input that I use to go into the PA or the amp is really loose. I have to plug the cord in, and turn it in a circle until I get sound, and then hope that it doesn't cut out in the middle of a show. Is there a way to fix this without getting a new control box for my pickup? I have a solder iron and consider myself somewhat handy - so throw the ideas at me!

Also, not sure if this will matter at all, but the input is only 1/8" - I use an 1/8" to 1/4" cord. I would like to replace the control box with 1/4" inputs, but I like this box because it also has the headphone jack. Hrrrmmmm....
