Does anybody have the eagle footprint for the SN76477, but the one that is narrow ( I think is micro-dip) 0.4 inch (10.16 mm) width DIP

thanks Ruben

It is called "Shrink-DIP", was semi popular around 1980 before PLCC and surface-mount really caught on. It uses .070" spacing. My guess is that you'd need to add it to your library yourself, but it shouldn't be too difficult - just pop on the grid two rows of 14 pins, .070" spacing, .4" wide. There are actually shrink-dip ZIF sockets out there, I bought some for my 76477 experiments.

See also pics of Thomas Henry/SMS "SN Voice" how it uses both pad footprints so one can use either chip size with no difficulty. This is a more versatile approach if space is not a concern.
