Hi all, i went to my supplier to buy ca3046 chips and he gave me one 3046 intersil and two chip with this code: AX010 the first and AX010
rca 8150 L8035
the second with the motorola symbol...and he said that these are CA3046 as well..but i cant find any datasheet on the web....does anyone know if he's right?

Then i find a bag with 100 LM394 chips and i buyed it for 20 €, (this supplier have a lots of vintage parts and for most of these he don't know the real value, he wants only give out all the old stuffs) are these chip useable in substitution of SSM2210?

thanks a lot
nico

Wow, thats a real bargain! Does he have more? Im willing to pay €20 for 10.. Smile

You could test the transistors in the ICs with a dmm, http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/multimtr.htm bottom of page. If the NPNs match the ca3046 pinout it should at least work as a drop in. Not sure about stability and other factors. The CA3046 data sheet is located at, http://www.intersil.com/data/fn/fn341.pdf
