Sorted! I got every last one of these MF'in resistors sorted! I had boxes and bins of those fuckers from projects stretching back the last ten years. Literally tens of thousands of them (counting the metric buttload of resistors I scored from Thomas Henry a few years back). I have 24 breadboards that are in constant rotation, and each time I tore a project down, I would toss the resistors together into a bin. I had pounds of them. 1%, 5%, eighth watt, quarter watt, half watt, tempco, carbon, metal film, metal foil - you name it, they were all gnarled and twisted into an incomprehensible mess. And, BTW, who in the hell decided the 1% resistor base color should be colored the exact shade that would mask brown as red and red as violet or brown and blue as maybe green and gray as perhaps white or not???? Doesn't matter, now they're sorted the same, in bins, I know where each and every one of them is! I'm changing my ways, never again, I tell you. I'd done the same with ICs, transistors, diodes, Vactrols, capacitors, etc., but those only took a couple of weeks to get organized. But....these resistors.....yeah, baby, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

Now....what did I miss? Did they finally figure out O'Bama is really Irish?

I used to work as a waiter in Boston, MA at an Italian restaurant called "O'Saraceno" and many people thought it was Irish but have you ever seen an Irish restaurant serving "meatballs spaghetti" Question Wink

That would not surprise me in the U.S.

when customers at the restaurant heard my accent usually asked where I was from and, of course, my answer was always: "guess"! So, I got the more diverse answers like: German, French Canadian, Slavish and, once in awhile, Italian Wink
