Hi,

So I just finished putting together the yusynth clock divider and it's behaving very strangely.

It doesn't work when connected to the power supply, however, when I remove the power supply it works for a few seconds and the stops.

The circuit is not connected to -15V. Could it be the stereo jack wired incorrectly?

Any ideas on why it's doing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There is no stereo-jack in this module.
Check the wiring of your jack sockets.
The -15V is not required for this circuit that why it is not connected.

Thanks for the reply.

On the wiring diagram IN 2 is show as a stereo jack as it has three connections going into it. If it is not a stereo jack, how should I wire three connections to a mono jack?

Thanks again!

It is not a stereo jack it's a mono jack with switch ! The switch is on when no jack is inserted and breaks when a jack is inserted. On such socket there are three lugs, one for the tip of the jack, a second for the switch, and a third lug for the switch.
Therefore the wire from the tip-lug of the #1 INPUT is to be connected to the switch lug of #2 INPUT.

So something like this?

And all the other jacks are mono jacks right?

Thanks for all the help so far!
