Inspired by a conversation with Inventor I recently finished three lunetta modules on perfboard. He actually talked me through the building of the boolean sequencer over IRC, which was great fun. Thanks Les!

The first three modules are:

#1 - 6 x 40106 oscillators
#2 - 4040 / 4070 boolean sequencer - Inventor's design I think
#3 - 4046 VCO - built on slacker's schematic http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-33607.html

I'm not sure what I'll build next - I have all sorts of competing ideas. The nice thing about these modules though is each one can be just a one-evening project. I don't feel particularly bound to the traditional lunetta constraints. For now my criteria are just that the circuit can be built reasonably quickly, that it fits on a piece of 5x7cm perf, and that it does something interesting.

Congrats on the builds Richard- these are fun...

Stan Lunetta indicated to me his main constraints were that he couldn't afford a Buchla Wink so go nuts, have fun and make some great sounds.

Looking good Richard! I follow a similar ideology: if it sounds cool, then it belongs in my machine. I've built a version of Tim Escobedo's PWM in my lunetta to allow for mic and guitar input and a few vcf modules to alter those square waves even more. I hope to add more voltage controlled elements to the mix as well.

The limits on these experiments are only as tight as we make em. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more of your machine.
