I have a problem with my Modular G2x. I do very often get hung notes and when I try to stop it with the panic button it does not respond. This happens despite it is connected to a midi merge box to the MIDI in with active sensing.
It must be the All Notes Off" CC message (controller number 123) is faulty in a way.
Anyone got any idea why this does not work and what is the easiest way to fix it?
As it is now I have to turn the G2X down and restart it. Not very healthy as it happens a few times an hour.

Any ideas? Twisted Evil

This problem with stuck notes from the G@ is becoming more of a prominent problem as I have to turn the machine of and on with the power switch again and again. The problem is to make the panic button ( shift + kb hold) to work as described in page 27.
In the MIDI implementation chart ( page 136) it says " all notes off" messages are neither transmitted or recognised. And so what does that mean?
Looking at previous threads, on this subject, I have found a few patches to use as
http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-4485.html
and
http://www.electro-music.com/forum/post-221375.html

But in practice it does not solve my problem as I don't understand how to assign cc 123 in the module to the panic ( shift + kb hold) command from the hardware.
Although my senses are telling me it should work as it says so in the manual.
I believe the only possible way to solve the problem is internally in the editor, as there are still note on/off messages coming in via the external trough box ( with active sensing). If I pull the MIDI cable out before letting the key I will not get any stuck notes but If I press the pc foot controller before note off I will get stuck. It easily happens when playing life as the press point can be missed ( and it does)
I have also tried to reinstall the OS but ( I think I did it right) it did not help
What should I do next?

Anders
