I'm looking for a great reverb VST. I want a rich clean sound something like an Eventide. Preferably free. Windows.

Any suggestions?

Not free ($50 each), but I strongly urge anyone, especially those who have been dissatisfied with plug-in reverbs, to check these out. They are my go-to reverbs and are highly recommended. From the developer's comments, I think Shimmer might be closest to Eventide in spirit but they are both capable of rich and clean:

Been a lot of good stuff said about the Vlahalla plugins.

You could also try Ambiance by Magnus at Smartelectonix. Been a while since I used it but I seem to remember it being pretty good. I believe it's free now.

hej howard,

try the convolutionreverb 'reverberate le' (charityware) http://www.liquidsonics.com/home.htm together with these impulse responses: http://rhythminmind.net/1313/?p=667 (donationware).
