I find multicoloured packs of straight-jack patch cables readily available in 30, 60 & 90cm variants. However, even the longest ones will not reach from one corner of my modular to the other. With the intent of keeping the scheme colourful (ie. not black), does anyone know where I can obtain packs of 120cm / 1.2m straight-jack multicoloured cables?

Also does anyone know where to get unusual coloured patch cables, such as Brown, Purple, Pink & Grey? I'd like to spice up the colours on my Modular a little.

There is a company named HOSA that sells a lot of different types of cables. One of the type they sell is called a 'snake' cable and has 8 colored cables inside of a rubber sleeve. In the past I've taken the sleeve off of these and had 8 individual colored cables. I believe the colors would be black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, grey and white. The plugs are 1/4", so if you're using euro sized jacks you would have to change the plugs.

Here's a link to the site:

They are a manufacturer, so you will need to see if they have a distributer in your area. The prices shown are MSRP.

There are other companies - Horizon comes to mind as one.
