having a bit of trouble building a Rene Schmitz sample and hold i thought i 'd try a simpler design i hope this one will work so i just thought i'd share the stripboard layout .. not sure if i can replace the 2n3819 with bf245c if anyone got a clue it would be nice .. this layout is with the mods yusynth did .. it's from his wildcat page ..

it is this one , http://yusynth.net/Wildcat/sandh-module.html , right? That's a really low parts module.

Btw. I think you could remove the shortest wire going to the Collector of the 3819 if you make the wire on the left side one hole shorter.

I looked at the data sheets and it seems to me that you could replace with the bf245c; you might need to tweak some of the input/output values though, im not sure. Most of the specs were very close.
