G2 Possible to assign Buttons on a already assigned Knob?

Hello.
Is it possible to assign one of the Nord's Buttons (under the LCD Knobs) to a parameter of the patch, when that Knob is already assigned to something else?

ie. the rotary knob controls one thing, the button something else

No. Some parameter assignments already use both the knob and button at the same time. It would also be difficult to show what the unrelated functions of the knob and the button were assigned to in the display.

I suspected as much. Damn. I still miss my G1 with its big panel of buttons!
