This album was done in 1997, back after I had left Vermont and was in Connecticut. These were all productions of much older pieces I had composed, redone with more modern technology.

This was first composed and produced in the progressive late 1970s, recorded by a band we called Maison Rouge. This version is a bit more puritan, but carries the thought.

I composed this when I was about 14. I could barely play what was in my head and had to practice it a lot much to the dismay of my family. Fortunately I played many other things too. This version was done on KCS Omega, recorded around 1992. Jeff Cooper did the drums for this.

I lived in Vermont from 1985 to 1994. Vermont is a beautiful place, and I loved living there. We move on, and on. These three pieces were a snapshot to me of the beauty of the seasons and the sights of the hills from the valleys.

This was recorded in Underhill, Vermont, in 1993.

The Crocus Blossoms was composed when I was on my own but in love with what ended up as my wife but at the time was a young woman who went her own way and it didn't include me then. I was sending cassettes of stuff I was doing in the studio. This version was done faithfully to the original 1984 version, but in 1996.
