In case my other thread fails to catch anyone's attention, I rephrase my question:

When moving from one iOS device to another, it seems that patch settings in synth apps, project files in Nanostudio, etc. are not copied over to the new device. It would be irritating to have a nice big Jasuto patch in your old iPhone and not be able to copy it to your iPad, for example.

Solutions???

dunno if you saw that.

I have not run into this, migrating from iphone 3GS to 4 didn't have that problem for me. I've read about some other people who have had serious issues though. I'll see if I can dig up anything.

Thanks, EdisonRex! I'll try the advice given there.

From what I gather, we i-Device users are at the mercy of the individual app developers when it comes to porting our patches from one device to another.

I'd be pissed if I had an elaborate Jasuto patch that I worked a lot of, on an iPhone that was not transferable to iPad.
