Hi

Has anyone here used this unit?

I got one recently but am wondering if it works 100%.
I don't seem to able to turn it off and when I move the mixer knob to the dry setting, I still hear some effects...

If this is indeed a fault, is it easy to repair?

Thanks in advance,
Best

Paulo

Ah yes, truly vintage, but tough to get info on them isn't it?

An engineer friend of mine has a dead one. He said it has power supply issues (I heard somewhere that that's a major issue with those early units) but he's never really invested the time to get to the bottom of the problem as he has too many other electronic distractions and I suspect that he just thinks it makes a cool retro paperweight. Too bad. I do keep after him about it anyway...

Not sure if Eventide would be of much help. I seem to remember something about them misplacing the early product documentation, but even if they've found it I know they don't service them due to the obsolete parts. Don't take my word for it though, you'd have to ask them.
