Problems with an Electrix Repeater Subject description: All help would be great, as I need it for the NYE concert... |
 |
|
Hey everyone
I was playing with my Repeater today and unfortunately it stop working properly...
At first the metronome was playing and no button seemed to be responding (I always have the metronome off).
I wasn't using it at the time, but it was on, so I am not sure what happened for it to go "insane"...
So I turned it off and when I turned on again, it displayed "Dry Muted", or something similar, and then it displayed CLICP 50 before all the lights turn off, except the ones over the Reverse and Stop button, which sometimes light themselves up...
The only button that seems to respond is the knobs for the loop and tempo.
And when I used it, the screen, tap tempo button and the 3 and 4 tracks buttons started working again, as well as the stereo LED of those tracks and the LEDs for Input Insert (it's red but I have nothing connected to it) and User (over the Sync button).
If I have no CF card inserted in the Electrix, I can only access Loop 1' (using the CF card, I can access that one and all the ones on the CF card).
Appart from that, only the tempo knob and tap tempo button seem to work...
Is this a known problem?
If so, how can I solve it?
The OS version I have is 1.1 (haven't had time to upgrade to 2.0 yet...).
If someone can help me it would be really appreciated cause I'm playing in the NYE concert this saturday and I had all my set based on what the Repeater can do...
Thanks in advance
Best

Thanks for the support
I'm really upset cause it happened just when I needed it...
It's the only concert I give per year, so I was really looking forward to use it then...
I guess I will have to create some G2 patches tomorrow and just use some sequences instead if I can't solve it...
I posted it on other websites too, so I hope I get lucky and someone knows what to do... _________________ Akai EWI3020/3030m / Alesis Fusion / Cheetah MS6 / Clavia Nord Modular G1/G2X / Creamware Noah, Scope / EMU E6400U, P2000, XL7 / Ensoniq Fizmo / Hartmann Neuron / Ibanez AD202, DM2000 / Kawai SX-240 / Korg 05R/W, A1, DSS1, EMX1, Legacy Collection, Oasys PCI, P6, P800II, SDD3000, Trident, Triton Pro, Zero 8 / Novation SBS, AS / Pearl DRUM-X / Roland D550, MKS80, R880, SRE555, VariOS, V-Synth / Soundart Chameleon / Symetrix 606 / Teisco S110F / Waldorf Blofeld kbd, mQ / Yamaha A5000, AN1x, CS5/15, FS1r |

Sure, there I will be able to do something, but the looper gives a completely different workflow to the whole setup
I am now being able to loop with it, using a Digitech FS300 pedal to control it.
However, it's not playing back what I'm inputting on it realtime... it seems it saves it to memory and only when it plays the loop it is played back...
Still, it's unusable as the annoying metronome sound is playing in the back...
All the buttons are still irresponsible, except for the tap tempo button and the knobs and the sliders for the volumes... _________________ Akai EWI3020/3030m / Alesis Fusion / Cheetah MS6 / Clavia Nord Modular G1/G2X / Creamware Noah, Scope / EMU E6400U, P2000, XL7 / Ensoniq Fizmo / Hartmann Neuron / Ibanez AD202, DM2000 / Kawai SX-240 / Korg 05R/W, A1, DSS1, EMX1, Legacy Collection, Oasys PCI, P6, P800II, SDD3000, Trident, Triton Pro, Zero 8 / Novation SBS, AS / Pearl DRUM-X / Roland D550, MKS80, R880, SRE555, VariOS, V-Synth / Soundart Chameleon / Symetrix 606 / Teisco S110F / Waldorf Blofeld kbd, mQ / Yamaha A5000, AN1x, CS5/15, FS1r |
