This is great! Once it's in its final location, I'll post a link to it on the Bit Shape site so that more users can find out about it.

Thanks! Very Happy

I just did a test, and it looks like you cannot attach TC-11 patches (.tcp files) to posts. I imagine you can .zip them up beforehand, but for sharing between users it might be useful to allow it. Is this possible?

It works, but it changed the name of the file to sublime_940.tcp, which I suppose isn't a big deal, but it changes the name of the patch in TC-11.

If you haven't yet opened a patch from the web, it's great. You just click the link, and the iPad has a button for Open in "TC-11" Smile

Yeah sorry for that, it is the forum algorithm for avoiding name clashes on files. Just strip the last three digits and the underscore before it on saves if you need the original file name.

We don't have automatic zipping of the original file with the original file name - and the namechange effected on the zipped file? That would preserve the original file name. Question Idea

No we don't have that, or any other means to restore the filename, even when the database knows about the original file name. And is its embedded deeply into the forum software, it is no fun to change things on it Crying or Very sad

Edit: I'll look into it when I have some time, but its likely to break stuff in places.

Ah.. ok.. the forum software.. I know... Shocked Ignore my suggestion. I've seen the code. Adding a tweak of that type would probably make it even more messy to upgrade the software.

Shocked

Uh..

Shocked

Oh shit.. we are having an Alfred Tennyson moment again!

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
"Forward the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns!" he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

Forward, the Light Brigade!"
Was there a man dismay'd?
Not tho' the soldier knew
Some one had blunder'd.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

It's definitely not a big deal - just something I noticed. You can keep the poetry coming, though. Cool

welcome BigaMyst

As long as a message was not replied to you can delete it with the little cross above it. To edit a post use the edit button there. When you edit a post, or are still making a new one, you can change the attachments with view added attachments - feel free to experiment, nothing much you can meess up (except your own post of course).

Thanks for Your help. After my post I managed to erase my bad post with the same twin preset. Now I know that I can add up to 5 files... and so on. It's longtime I've don't used this forum and I forget all rules.

Thanks and cheers

welcome BigaMyst, great to have you here and thanks for sharing. I'll check out your uploads over the weekend. Most of my use of TC-11 has been with the presets. I love this app because it makes some sounds very much like the very early music of the late 1950s and early sixties. You know, the pre-Moog era of electronic music.
