Example: 2 NAND gates as 1 AND gate:

Am I right in thinking the second NAND is just working as a logic inverter?

Ahh so both AND switches would produce the same results?

Logic switch Ring Oscillator:

With this one, could you not have just used a single invertor to produce the 12Khz signal?

The answer is yes for both logic questions, great! A little fine tune: A logic NAND gate CAN work as an inverter.
In SoundLab II, everything is build up from the begin. I just placed here a few examples/riddles.
Remember, for ringing(FB), you need an uneven number of inverters.
Like before the ring, to find out tuning, I came up with this one.
So, combining this pch with the Logic Ring Osc, is getting things one step further.
But this is not my teaching page...buy the book! Wink :

Lol, ok. Smile

With regards to the inverters, at first i thought each one was stepping down the frequency but all they do is introduce another 1 sample delay and yes I worked out the odd number issue when messing with them at home...obvious really when you think about it but logic stuff is not obvious at face value, you have to work through it... or at least i do. Very Happy

Logic modules to define the formant. Cascading Flip-flop modules could be used:

Mashing up audio will be discussed too. What to think about 8 Notch filters you can modulate ending up in a phaser:

As I stated before, Audio processing will be discussed too.
From sweetness to heavy soundscapes.
In this case a Resonator Neuron model(just my vision):

and 1 with drums:

A digi filter. 8 times minus 1 sample delays comming together in 8 static switch modules. By switching you change the coeffs:
http://snd.sc/AeVIOs
This one is static(by switches), but I've made some time changing too.

Some other filter bashing.
Kick and snare drum into a coeff filter field with modulated Delay lines.
For audio example:

One of a bunch homebrew trigger sequencers, there are more complicated ones. For slower triggering, replace the 8Counter with the BinCounter.
