FS: Clavia Nord Modular G2 + DSP Expansion |

Hey guys, I have lurked here for years but never posted. Some old gear sales can be tracked under my eBay username : gearheadtx
I figured since this is the community from which I learned the most about the Nord Modulars (I have a NM1 rack also), I'd offer this up here first. It's a valuable piece and I really don't want to give eBay anymore money.
Please PM me serious offers and any questions. Buyer will pay shipping from Houston area. I'd prefer to ship only to the US.
I apologize that this is post 1 from me. I've been in veritable gear seclusion for years now due to two kids taking up my former space. So this, and some other stuff, has to go.
(Other items as a point of interest: Access Virus Indigo 2 with anvil case, Akai APC40 in original packaging, possibly the unexpanded NM1 rack)
The G2 will go up to eBay in a week if not sold here. Not planning on posting to any other gear forums. I'll be happy to do a voice call if you want to know that I'm not a Nigerian scammer. Or hell a Skype video call if you want to see I actually have the keyb in front of me. If you aren't interested, but know someone or some group that might be, please send them my way. I got laid off recently and I am liquidating for money rather than the normal "sell gear to get gear" cycle.
Disclaimer: this item is being sold as-is. I'm selling it in good faith after having tested it about an hour ago before packing it up in the gig bag.
Pics:
wall of text extracted from inactive eBay ad I want to avoid:
Included:
G2+EXP Keyboard running latest OS 1.62 (see picture 2 for OS version and EXP)
Original manual (outdated!)
Original software disc (from 2006!)
~10" long power cable (nice length!)
Flexible gooseneck mic that plugs into the back (get your vocode on!)
Red gig bag with shoulder strap
NOT INCLUDED:
Standard USB A/B cable.
Current desktop software (download it from Clavia http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?tm=Downloads&cldwn=Nord_Modular_G2 )
Why is the USB cable with the red ends not included? Because it had an unusable short somewhere and went to the trash like the useless wire it was.
You will NEED to have a cable like this one, WHICH YOU LIKELY ALREADY HAVE, for remote control patch control using the desktop programmer.
(http://www.cablestogo.com/product_list.asp?cat_id=1502 - I am not affiliated with this site, just first one to come up on Google).
E.g., I had been using the USB cable from another device, just note the B-type end - not a micro-USB plug.
Condition:
This is as mint as you're going to get a Nord Mod G2 these days. I am the second owner, and I have had it since 2006 so the other owner must not have had it long. Everything is in exactly the same condition as received. The keyboard itself is in amazing shape, as is the mic. The gig bag has a bit of a frayed separating edge near the handle on the top (see the picture) but that hasn't been an issue, because I rarely kept the keyboard in it.
Never gigged, always kept covered when not in use in my smoke-free home studio.
One synth guy to another, I would be elated to receive this device in the condition it is in. When I got it, I was stunned, and so I kept it as clean as I could. So long as shipping doesn't screw up, I don't see how anyone would be disappointed opening this up. I've gotten some used items before that ended up being dogs. This is not one of them.

Thanks,
Chris

Sorry you have to sell your G2. I'm interested if the price is right. What would you take for it?
I'm in Allentown, PA. so shipping via UPS or FedEx isn't a problem.
Best regards,

Hey Mosc, thank you for the welcome. I hate to get rid of it because it's almost the last bit of hardware I've kept around, but it has been touched sparingly. I think I've downloaded some of your patches .
I've seen varying prices over the past year, and very few of them. Make me an offer via PM and we can talk from there.
I've had a couple PM's asking about PayPal, and well I think we can work it out via PayPal if that's the preferred option I just hate giving them a cut (though admittedly it's less if it's PayPal and not PayPal + eBay which is outrageous).

Going to bump on this, it's still for sale and hasn't hit ebay yet. Have a couple of offers, holding out for a little more if possible. Please hit me via PM. Well, don't hit me ... contact me. |
