Looking to sell my music online, but bandcamp have a ridiculous rue where you have to meet a certain number of sales in order to get your account upgraded to take tracks longer than 10 minutes... The majority of the work I want to sell is 40 minute long ambient soundscapes.
I really don't want to have to put a load of old computer manufactured 'industry friendly' tracks in order to get the stuff up that I actually want to sell.
I wonder what sites other ambient artists are using (which don't have the 10 minute track rule)?
Alternatively, feel free to help out by downloading a 4 minute piece I wrote here, so I can upgrade my account:

There's no 10-minute limit on Bandcamp. Their max upload size per file is 291 MB, which is oddly precise. Which, if you're uploading 16/44.1 .wav's, is 26: something. If you're uploading .flac's, obviously, much longer. And once you sell $20, they raise the cap to 600 MB per file, which is pretty big. I've got multiple tracks on my bandcamp in the 16-20:00 range...
Cheers,

Soundcloud has a way these days to sell tracks. Have you explored that? They probably don't have these limits. _________________ percussa mSSP - digital modular in a eurorack module - 8 in/4 out @ 48/96/192khz DC coupled - 25+ DSP modules https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/percussa/percussa-micro-super-signal-processor-eurorack-mod |
