I'd luv it if the Loudness Wars came to an end. One of the nice things about living in a communist dictatorship like Norway is that we have 3 channels of state owned television with no commercial breaks. Every time I watch a programme on commercial TV I almost get heart palpitations every time there's a commercial break, due to the incredible jump in volume...

I never really compress my final mixes. Perhaps a little bit, but mostly it's to bring up the overall gain without sacrificing dynamic range.
