Just got my package with modules and uZeus power supply. Very exciting!

These are the modules:

a-110
a-145
a-118
a-148
a-140
a-137-1
Bubblesound vcob
Maths
Intellijel uVca
Polivoks vcf

It seems to work but the uZeus gets really hot. In the manual it says this is normal but that you are probably overloading the uZeus if it gets too warm.

If I have not completely misunderstood the way you calculate the overall power consumption it should be approximately 510 mA for all the modules and the uZeus should be able to deliver 1200 mA.

Anyone knows anything about this? Is it normal? Should this work?

Thanks!

How hot is hot?
If its 50 degrees Celsius you might be ok. If its 90, then it probably is asked too much current.

I think I mentioned on the other post you are pushing it with a bit many modules. How hot is too hot is a tough call. Might be fine, but lots of things have a greater chance of going wrong if used for an extended time. You could get another uZeus or something bigger like the full Zeus with a bigger power adapter.

I don't have the uZeus, someone with one could answer better. I have the Zeus x2 and a bunch of other power units, I don't recall any of my Euro running hot though I do have music gear that runs hot
