Hiya
Slowly working on building a klee, which I intend to use with a 12v supply in a euro sytem.
Got to this in the build doc:

Quote:

If you are operating from 12V supply rails, then a value of 2K for R63 – R70 and 2K for R71 – R78 will produce 5V levels. This will provide a 1K output impedance.
For 12V operation, a value of 1K for R63 – R70 and eliminating (not installing) R71 – R78 will produce 10V level signals with an output impedance of 1K.

So - I'm pretty sure that almost everything will be good with 5v gates, and I can think of a couple things that may not react well with 10v gates - if a 1.5k resistor were used would that result in 7.5v gates? Has anyone taken this approach or is 'nah just go with the 5v and you'll be golden' the general approach that has been successful for klee's in euro?
Thanks!
Brandon

edit:
apologies - some searching this forum produced quite a few posts addressing the gate levels. That said - are 7.5v level gates possible?
