hi everyone..
im building my first modules.. two from yusynth and one of ACXsynth..
and of course i need a power source unit
is the LM317/LM337 the right choice for this??
also.. i live in chile and the voltage in here is 220v. should i modify some of the components or i leave like that? also.. what kind of transformer should i use?? can it feed the 3 modules???

thanks!!!! Razz

Yes this power supply will work. I have looked up the ACXsynth and it needs 15v, I havent looked at the Yusynth modules but if they also use a 15v supply you will be OK. The variable resistors in the circuit will let you set the output voltage to +/-15. The transformer type is up to you. I prefer toroidal as they offer a bit more regulation than frame transformers. The supply gives out about 1.5A and most modules require about 100mA, so you have enough current for up to 15 modules but it might be less in real life because of differing current requirements and it isnt best practice to max out your supplies.

I like to add, that for a +/-15V supply you'll need a 2x 18V~ transformer.
I used a 50VA toroid myself,. but you can do with less if you're not
planning to power more modules with it in the future.
