Hello all, really hoping you can help because I've read this forum any time I have a problem and you really seem to know your stuff.

I have a reoccurring problem where my nord Lead 2x. It will become non responsive, no sound from key presses and sometimes all the LED indicators will go out. Usually you can still cycle through presets though.

It happens when I plug the outputs into my Monomachine inputs. Its a shame because I really want to use them together. Doesn't happen when I just connect midi between the two though. The other weird thing that happens is that when I connect my DSI evolver into the monomachine then the Monomachine gets covered in a sort of static when you touch it. This indicates to me that maybe there is some sort of grounding problem when things are plugged in (which I know makes it seem like its the monomachine that is malfunctioning and not the nord) just wondering if anyone on the boards has heard of this sort of thing.

Or maybe your audio cables are bad?

I tried a ground lift on the audio inputs using a DI box but it didn't have any effect. I guess what I'm wondering is has anyone ever seen a Nord Lead have all its lights turn out or midi just stop dead and what caused it?
