o.k., this is probably again one of my "sdiy for dummies" questions
regarding the 1V/octave Single bus keyboardcontroller PCB

http://www.musicfromouterspace.com/analogsynth_new/SINGLEBUSSKEYBOARD2007/SINGLEBUSSKEYBOARD2007.php

If I understand it right, this controller needs
"single switch per note mechanism" which could be a row of push buttons (push to make) with on one side connected with a 100k-resistors chain and the other one connected in a row to the KBUS??

if I push the first "key" it says
"the lowest note is 0 Volt" => is this the note C then??

Imagine I would build a controller with 12 of those pushbuttons and send the CV to a yusynth CV-standard http://yusynth.net/Modular/EN/STANDARDS/index.html
would this then act as some kind of "octave switch" ??

Thanks for your input Smile

After a brief look at that yusynth cv standard (I'm not familiar with it) it looks like a basic level shifter. Basically a summing amp that will take your cv and add octaves (1V) and add/subtract simitones (0.0833V). So if you only want 12 buttons that would work, but it seems awfully cumbersome.
If you make a resistor chain keyboard controller make sure you use 100 ohm, not 100k.
Also, the lowest note can be whatever you want it to be. It depends on how you tune your vco. Some people tune it to C0 though.

It's a bit cumbersome, but I already have a CV-Standard PCB and I wanted the MFOS controller to be integrated as module into my analogue-system .... kind of for quick and dirty sound testing.

If used as a controller to multiple sequencers, the octave- and semitone-detuning of the CV-Standards would be a nice addon Smile

So a matrix of 12 or 16 pushbuttons on the module (with 100R resistors) would look fun - I will try and post pics if it works

Thanks, this helps Smile
