A good friend of mine gave me his theremin, which needs a little TLC. It came without a pitch antenna, and I was hoping someone could tell me the size and type of nut used to attach a copper pipe replacement. I was told I had to contact Moog directly if I wanted to buy an "official" replacement, but I assumed that it would be unnecessarily expensive.

After that, I'm going to need to replace something on the board. There is barely any sound, and I was told that this is somewhat common - something to do with a faulty diode. I haven't opened it up yet, but I was told that this problem is fairly well documented on the web. By the way, this is the kit version.

I never thought in a million years that I would A) own a theremin and B) own a Moog product. Awesome!
