Thanks to Jack for doing such a great job. For those that couldn't figure it out, the design is based on the number eight because this is the eighth electro-music event. There's always method to our madness. _________________ --Howard

Beautiful once again, Jack! I see Lissajous patterns myself, because the zero-input mixer has been feeding sndpeek a lot lately. I'm seeing patterns like this in my dreams _________________ When the stream is deep

For all of you trying to listen to the streaming of the event, please accept my apologies about the constant dropping out. The local network is having a lot of issues and we lost the entire Friday to dealing with the YMCA's tech guys trying to open up the streaming ports in the first place. The wireless network at the Greenkill centre serves the entire campus, and it seems someone here is running something (possibly a torrent server) that is crushing the network.
Never fear, however, as we've recorded the entire show (both off the boards and in the room) so we have the means to rebroadcast all three days of performances. This, we'll do in coming weeks which we will announce in advance. There are of 40gb of recordings to pick through.
Anyway, we haven't even been able to get the chat running here so I thought I'd post this in a spare moment. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

hey guys and girls,
had a blast at EM2012 but had to leave suddenly on Sunday afternoon. some of you may already know that i have issues with my back due to a work related injury and had surgery earlier in the year and all that jazz. but i'm still suffering with pain and dragging all my equipment and setting up really aggravated it. so you may have noticed i was a little bit subdued during my performance. the pain killers that i have to take to help with the pain also kinda did me in a bit and i got a bit overheated during my performance with the lights on me. it was a bit of a blur, but i kept on trucking and might have been a little incoherent afterwards lol. i went back to the hotel and crashed. so sadly and with much remorse i had to head back home to Long Island on Sunday afternoon without a proper goodbye. but i was happy to at least get up there and see everyone on Saturday and wanted to thank everyone who put this event together and for all of their hard work and for having me out to perform this year. it was amazing to see many faces again and meeting new people. after missing out on EM2011, i swore i wouldn't miss out on EM2012. got me my EM2012 shirt and i will wear it proudly.
here's to EM2013
love ya all,
-Mike

Appreciate Robert and co.'s work on getting the performances recorded. They came out great. Also wanna give well deserved rops to Mr. Mokris for his video expertise. Massive thanks to Howard, Greg, Paul, and the entire electro-music family for putting this amazing event together.
Here's my set mixed and mastered using the room mic and direct mixer recordings.
Neorev - Live At The 2012 electro-music Festival (320kbps MP3)
Tracklisting:
01 Intro
02 Oh No! (Doomsday Mix)
03 Let's Get Down (2012 Rework)
04 Basshead [featuring Villain]
05 Wildfire
06 Children Of The Bomb
07 Proper Funkage
08 Don't Let 'Em Get You Down
09 Blue Lines
10 Brooklyn Stomp (2012 Rework)
If someone could point me to the person to get this recording to for the EM2012 replay, mucho thanks in advance. I also have it in WAV for my fellow EM audiophiles.
Enjoy,
