It looks like a sequencer that outputs CV's to be integrated in analog setups?

I have modified the background picture in the site to see the labels a bit more clearly.

AMP - ENV - LFO
Chorus - Delay - Reverb - LFO
CV C - CV D - ENV - LFO

and, oh, yes ELEKTRON

Yeah, looks like it! Very Happy Wave to Göteborg for me when you're pass by (that's where Elektron are based.)

The short video was fun... If they wanted to create hype, it seems they succeeded, lots of comments wherever I go to read that kinda stuf. Smile

Official product page is up, with specs, FAQ, etc.
http://www.elektron.se/products/analog

I may not get this thing for a while, since my modest needs are covered by other gear. But the surprisingly low asking price of $1149 US, in combination with the sequencing, synthesis, and FX features; is sure to attract new buyers.

If it turns out the 4 voices are independently programmable (individual oscillator, filter, etc. settings per note of a chord) like the Oberheim Four Voice, I would be more tempted.

I must say I'm perplexed by how little discussion there has been here on EM. Of course, I've become an Elektron fanboy since getting the Octatrack, but this new synth is a pretty tasty device by any standard and the price is pleasantly competitive. It seems a bit less sophisticated than an Evolver, but I somewhat prefer the sounds I'm hearing in the demos. Very tempting!

I sometimes feel that anything that isn't DIY isn't given that much attention here these days. Anyway, I'm kind of excited about this., even though I've struggled a bit getting into the groovebox concept with my octatrack. I get the feeling that this one is going to be a bit more immediate in its interface. And CV outputs with parameter locks etc sounds very nice.

Funny how it came out of the blue, no NAMM teaser, nothing, then weird site, weird video and bam it's shipping within three weeks!

It looks like a good complement for a machinedrum and a modular set-up. Plus, sync-24 is also welcome in this context.

I don't know if it is marketing, but the sounds have convinced me. +FX +Audio inputs... +priced sensibly.

I just pre-ordered mine. Smile
