What are the power requirements? 15v too much? Cheers

I use 12v but any voltage over the cmos range should be fine. sound will change depending on supply voltage, but it should work fine. I can test more thoroughly when i get the prototype.

http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-52786.html

Here is a link to the modular drum machine that uses the same 4 drum voices. Read about the twin t drums in that post. There are some sound samples down the page.

I will write and post a construction manual once i get the board verified.

The drums are a classic twin t ringingfilter configuration, similar to old organ drum machines or even some the tr606 and tr808 sounds. The sounds can easily be triggered from a piezo or audio impulses, and of course triggers from modular synths, etc. but when triggering from a small signal source the Synth drum bend will not work.

The capacitor values are not fixed, but i will supply some values for various drum ranges.

My belief is that he just received the initial pcb's and was going to run some tests on em'. When a project is really ready, people tend to create an obvious new thread for taking orders/info, etc.

Hey, can you repost the sounds? I click on them in the original thread and get 404 Error. Thanks. Maybe post them here?

Interested in the PCB at a $10 or so price point, not a kit so much.

What are all the unused connections in the second photo?

Edit:DUR I see the $15 price now, that's just fine, still interested Smile

The board is split up into quarters, the part that has the wires coming off is one quarter, or one drum. the other drums don't have any controls yet, so those unused connections are for pots and in/outs

I'd buy a kit on a heartbeat. But if not available, a pcb alone is ok.
