What's wrong with the ones you have - are they faulty? Do they stick? What kind of knobs and sliders are in there already? How are they mounted? On the circuit board or on the front panel?

Of course even then I've made an assumption - do you mean the potentiometers themselves or the plastic bits that fit onto them?

Give us some more info! Very Happy

ok ok clever clogs, you got me..

the sliders and nobs as in the potentiometers, and not the plastic bits or id have said plastic bits. We all know u can to take the plastic bits off and replace them, we all did that as kids remember. Smile

notice im asking a question about the finger trigger, if i knew loads about electronics id know all about the type of components in it, and where to find the relevant information......

but i don't, so im asking.

some of the nobs (pots) are faulty, and sliders, are just shit quality, and i use this alot for gigging.

thanks

I haven't got a clue what's in the trigger finger, but as you've got one, you could always open it up and take a look.

The pots and sliders should have some values printed on them which will give you a clue - googling "potentiometer values" gives a nice spot to start reading:

http://sound.westhost.com/pots.htm

Once you have thier values it's a lot easier to start finding replacements. The shape/size, mounting, shaft size, taper and so on are all things you may have to check on to find the right parts.

Take your time - it's a nice first project if you're totally new to electronics.

I'm pretty good at sourcing components, if you give me the throw in millimeters and a picture of the leads for spacing and the ohms resistance on the linear pots I might be able to source that. Panasonic was used in a lot of this kind of equipment.
