Hi --

I am trying to post a png file created in inkscape. The graphic shows up with a black background. When I click on it, the image that comes up is correct. Am I doing something wrong?

Sure. See attached. In the mean time I converted it to a gif with another program and that worked just fine.

Not seeing it .. looks like a 'standard' RGB image to me .. and for me too when I click on it in Firefox the black parts get transparent ... when I save it and open it in the browser it stays black though ... in one image editor it said the transparent color was white .. when I saved it with black as the transparent color still the same thin happens ...

It probably is the forum software .. it can resize images ... although this one should not have been resized.
