VCO pulse wave is very quiet |
|
|
Hi,
So I just put together the VCO, I haven't tuned it yet, but all other waves seem to be working apart from the sine and square which are very quiet. Any ideas on why this might be?
Also the LEDs on my mixer only turn on when I power up the synthesiser but once powered up the go off. These modules are working fine apart from that.
Thanks! |

Check that you have not inverted the wires connected to the output sockets. _________________ Yves |

Thank you for the reply. Wiring seems fine. I'm getting a negative reading from the pulse jack, is this normal?
Should I replace the TL7041? Pin 8 is reading -13 V.
Thanks! |

Are you sure that you used a TL7041 ??? U6 and U7 are supposed to be TL074. Check also the soldering of U6,R28,R52,R35 _________________ Yves |

Opps I meant to say TL074. Thanks, I'll check the soldering.
I just noticed that when I power it on the output of the waves is a lot louder, but gradually decreases over a period of say 5 seconds. Any Ideas why this is happening?
Thanks again! |
