I've used Arduino 023 for over a year for my first project.
I've been concerned about upgrading to 1.0, for fear it would break something.

Now that I have a 2nd project to work on, I though I'd try 1.0.

When I run the installer on XP-32 Bit, it just crashes after the splash screen is displayed, with no messages.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

(We still use XP where I work.) Smile

I used to use 0022 (summer of 2011) on a WinXP SP3 32 bit PC. I installed the 1.0.1 both on the XP and a Win7 64bit laptop. I haven't used it much, but I haven't had it crash. (I've had compiler errors though--operator error!!)

This isn't an issue any more= now that 1.02 is out.
They must have fixed the problem.
