Re: Poster
Jack is doing the poster, but there is no harm in having 2 posters. Let me put up the updated schedule today or tomorrow with the new add-ons, then we will finalize it and can start on the posters. Thanks Simon

Is it possible to get the poster higher res?
Why?
I plan on putting it on TV, I have access to the local channel(s) here and can place it along with info to get there to listen, which is what I am up too ...
however is standard TV so size it up if it can be as high as res as that can be to fit standard TV ... with a bit of video magic (I do all the editing lately too) I can animate it a bit with a voice over ... which is one of those reasons I noted that request on facebook a few minutes ago ... I need a fresh voice ... to mangle too of course ... humans are getting hard to find lately with good voices ...?
I am forcing myself to make this post, because I really do not want to...
I'm really sorry, but I'm unable to participate as planned.
I have been having a great deal of trouble with musical motivation lately. Several months ago, two things happened simultaneously: I lost ALL of my hearing in my left ear (not even a powerful hearing aid does anything), and I bought a new hearing aid for my right ear. The new hearing aid is great, but it is very different from my old one, and it's taking time to adjust to it (basically, it is providing more information than my old one, and my brain is still figuring out what to do with the new input it's not used to, not to mention receiving everything from one ear now).
Not having any hearing at all in one ear has made it difficult for me to enjoy music as I know it. I haven't lifted a finger to a keyboard, pot or slider since my left ear went bye-bye. It has not been easy telling myself to push past it, and I am trying not to be too hard on myself by keeping busy with projects at home and online.
I am waiting to hear from the office of a surgeon at Johns Hopkins to schedule cochlear implant surgery for my left ear. It is most likely that once that happens, I will need to put in a lot of time to train with the device, and it is unknown how well it will process music for me. It almost always works well with every user for speech, but music perception varies greatly. I'm encouraged by the fact that musicians statistically do reasonably well with CI's and that music perception can be improved in much the same way speech perception can over time.
Anyway, I know this is boring, but I honestly did not feel like keeping the reason for backing out to myself. I figured since I'm among fellow musicians that I'd be understood.
I really hope to be back in action in the near future.
So... my slot's up for grabs. I hope it can go to someone who wanted in but didn't make it for whatever reason.

Terrible news Damien! Though I get the impression from what you're saying that there is great hope that things will sort themselves out in time, and with work. All the strength for that! _________________ Antimon's Window @soundcloud@Flattr@myspaceA bloghome - you can't explain music
Sorry to hear that Damien, hope it will sort out, and you can go back to the things we all love to do.
As for the open slot, in chat we came up with the idea to play a 30min piece/set by Richard Lainhart, who passed away the 30th of December last year. _________________ Weblog! Kits for synthesiser modules in Europe
