Question Why don't I see more layouts using these ICs.
Seems like it would make $ense for things like Moog filters and "tau pipe" phase shilfters using these. SSM2210s, lm394s, are hard to find and cost too much. Maybe I'm missing something I'm not exactly the most tech savvy person

Oakley use the THAC Corp matched pairs in quite a few projects
VCO
Ring Mod
Journeyman and Superladder VCF’s
Classic VCA

Thank you and for the links, freinds. I plan to do some pcb layouts using these chips for some of the projects out where it would just make economical sense to do so. It's been more than 20 years since I layedout and etched a pcb. So we'll how it goes.

Well, if you do start your own layouts, I can highly recommend Eagle to do them. There's a free version but also a hobbyist license for 60 euros. Bit of a learning curve but not too much so (IMHO).
